Resilience, sisu and the happiest country in the world
Watching the Finnish ice hockey, team play ROC in the Olympic final I heard a commentator mention the ‘mental fortitude’. This really struck a chord, reminding me of ‘sisu’ a characteristic most often attributed to Finns. However, sisu is something we can all cultivate, and it can help to build our resilience.
